Indigo strengthens RealTime for Infor ERP System21, with Manufacturing Bookings

October 2007 Indigo Software, the leading provider of Infor ERP System21 automation, today announced that it has extended its offer to users of System21, introducing new RealTime software module, RDT Manufacturing Bookings.
Peter McLane, Managing Director of Indigo, commented RealTime has for many years been automating Infor ERP System21, enabling the recording of material movements as they happen and delivering functionally rich warehousing capability. These solutions typically deliver a return on investment between 10 and 18 months.
Indigo are committed to the continuous development of the RealTime solution, with Manufacturing Bookings being one of three new modules to be introduced in 2006. The introduction of RDT Manufacturing Bookings extends Indigos RealTime supply chain solution into the manufacturing process.
New RealTime module
Manufacturing Bookings provides a fast and efficient method of remotely recording the receipt of Works in Progress (WIP) and finished goods against System21.
The manufacturing module provides full support for all levels of traceability, including lot and batch assignment and management. Additionally the ability to work with both production schedules and works orders has been incorporated with full process group and multiple output scenarios.
Backflushed components will be consumed automatically as the bookings take place. Full temperature recording and the ability to book Dolav or Tub bookings is optional.
This module substantially reduces and often eradicates the need to manually record production bookings in a back office environment. Providing System21 with a constant stream of information updates ensuring the most up to date stock information available.
