It was clear from the outset that Indigo's experience with this type of project would be invaluable. Indigo were never afraid to ‘tell it like it is’ and put as much effort into ensuring that our team was on target as well as their own.

Agrokor extends the deployment of RealTime at -25°C
09 Sep 2008
Indigo Software Ltd, the supply chain software specialist, today announced that Agrokor, the largest private company in Croatia and one of the top three in the former Yugoslavia has gone live with Indigo’s RealTime for Infor EPR System21 software at their brand new, purpose built, deep frozen warehouse at the PIK Vrbovec Meat processing facility, 40km outside of Zagreb.
The implementation at the -25°C Warehouse extends the deployment of RealTime within Agrokor, utilising Indigo’s RealTime Interactive Warehousing, Inventory Transactions & Receiving modules with Infor’s ERP System21.
Indigo deployed RealTime for System21 as the integration hub to control and capture the weighing of meat products on receipt to the warehouse with Bizerba scales (http://www.bizerba.com/country/uk/en/start/terminals.html). RealTime then instructs the sophisticated concertina racking to open & close as Interactive Warehousing requires access to isles and bays (http://www.ssi-schaefer.co.uk/Pallet_Racking.16717.0.html). RFID implants in the floor at each bay enables Interactive Warehousing to dynamically confirm the correct location of trucks and through height monitoring can also confirm the location used without any intervention by the truck driver.
Darren Baxter, Indigo’s Operations Manager
“Indigo are delighted with the overwhelming success of what was a very complex technical solution. The adoption of the new technologies coupled with Indigo’s proven Warehouse and Data Capture systems, have provided a state of the art solution that Indigo and Agrokor are extremely proud of.”
Tomislav Marenic, Agrokor’s IT Project Manager
“Agrokor made the decision to build a brand new deep frozen facility adjacent to the meat processing plant as a replacement for third party warehousing. The adoption of concertina racking allows 60% more storage within the footprint over conventional racking, and the entire process is paperless, barcode assisted and RFID driven.
We chose Indigo as our WMS partner as they have a proven history of successful implementations and technical expertise particularly with complex integration projects.
Indigo delivered the solution on-time and within budget for what was a very high profile project. Their experience and knowledge was invaluable to Agrokor and enabled us to deploy this cutting edge solution.
We are all looking forward to our next project”
