AlfaMega Emporiki Move to Aurora with Indigo

Our It Infrastructure is based around a nucleus of data that is held in System21, as you can imagine we have tens of thousands of transactions in our EPOS systems that require interfacing into our ERP. We were faced last year with a clear choice on the future of our software platform.
We decided after a lot of consultation and internal discussions that we should stay with Infor’s System21 and move to their latest Aurora 2,3 platform.
In use System21 has been extremely robust and has always been there for our employees. The Iseries platform has been one of the most effective servers available for many years and this machine availability helped Aurora score very highly.
Any large scale software implementation is not without risk and I saw it as my job to protect AlfaMega from any potential disruption to the business”.
