Indigo’s Marshalling module for RealTime extends the capability of Indigo’s Interactive Warehousing application into real-time marshalling locations.
This module substantially reduces the risk of loading errors and provides extended views and maintenance functions of the stock in marshalling locations.
The Marshalling module ensures that marshalling locations are assigned to batches of orders either during pick wave release (using Selective Order Release) or prior to work assignment via the work with batches function.
Pickers are directed using RDT’s to take goods to assigned marshalling locations for assembly into loads or consignments; the ability to create packing lists also exists for each assembled consignment of goods.
As you would expect full visibility of each batch in the marshalling areas is available, giving up-to-date information, upon which the warehouse management team can react.
As a result of these movements the stock position in the System21 Warehousing is greatly improved.
Single shot despatch confirmation can be initiated from the Marshalling batches screen, despatching all orders within that batch. This can be carried out either before or after vehicle loading.
Authored and engineered to work only with System21, RealTime for System21 is delivered as additional System21 modules, not interfaced or integrated. This is achieved by being incorporated into the System21 database, being resident on the iSeries, developed to System21 standards, written in RPG/ILE, using System21 System Manger authorisation codes from Infor and being consistently compliant with all supported releases of System21.
