RealTime Manufacturing provides a fast and efficient method of recording the receipt of Work in Progress (WIP) and finished goods against System21 works orders during the physical production process.
Radio Data Terminals (RDT’s) are used to record the receipt of finished items by scanning bar-codes from Works Order/Schedule documentation.
As goods are produced on the shop floor operators update the stock position instantly into System21.
RealTime Manufacturing automatically validates and records production bookings against the System21 Works Order/Schedules as required.
Where the final operation is booked into a warehouse controlled stockroom the system will generate a warehouse pallet/pack label that is attached to the finished goods.
Industry standard Dolav and Co product bookings are provided with optional Lot creation routines.
This module will substantially reduce or in many cases eradicate the need to manually record production bookings and then update them in a back office environment.
Providing System21 with a constant stream of information updates ensuring the most up to date stock position is available at all times. This in turn will drive MPS and MRP with 100% accurate information.
Authored and engineered to work only with System21, RealTime for System21 is delivered as additional System21 modules, not interfaced or integrated. This is achieved by being incorporated into the System21 database, being resident on the iSeries, developed to System21 standards, written in RPG/ILE, using System21 System Manger authorisation codes from Infor and being consistently compliant with all supported releases of System21.
